nashville flood

here are some panoramic photos of our house yesterday, after being flooded. click to see them biger. the white line in two of the photos represents the highest water level, based on a murky line left on my tv. the water is slowly receding, and were hoping to get started emptying the house tomorrow. unfortunately i was at my parent's in chicago while this went down, but hannah did a great job at taking as much of our valuables upstairs as she could. meanwhile, we've already found and signed a lease on a new place, a mile or two away. we are so blessed to have found this house so quickly. and my brother is on his way up from austin to help, and hannah's parents and brother coming up friday. we have been staying at nates house, and you should go look at his photo coverage of the flood - it's amazing.

this week i'm in chicago with my family, and this is my sister! she's graduating high school in june. congrats mary!

a couple weeks ago i was in austin, tx visiting my brother, and we walked by hotel san jose. amazing little place! i hope to stay there someday. thanks to cody for looking pretty.
